Virginia High School Basketball - Robinson nips West Springfield

Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Robinson Rams (Fairfax, VA) and the host West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA), saw Robinson's basketball team get by West Springfield by a tally of 30-23.
The Rams now possess a 20-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Potomac for a District 4 battle on Friday, February 9. Robinson will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 68-27 league win over Lake Braddock (Burke, VA). The Wolverines record now stands at 13-9.
The Spartans (8-12) will now prepare for their battle against Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA). The Titans come into the District 4 battle with a 2-18 record. In their last battle, Alexandria City was nudged by South County (Lorton, VA), 55-26, in a league battle.
