North Carolina High School Basketball - Rosewood knocked off by Union

The Union Spartans basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Rosewood Eagles to 24 in the Spartans league triumph on Tuesday.
The Spartans now sport a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Duplin for a 1A Carolina contest on Friday, February 9. Union will battle a Rebels team coming off a 48-37 league win over Lakewood (Roseboro, NC). The Rebels record now stands at 13-6.
The Eagles (6-15) will now prepare for their contest against Neuse Charter (Smithfield, NC). The Cougars enter the 1A Carolina contest with a 11-12 record. In their last contest, Neuse Charter ran past Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC), 66-26, in a league contest.
