Shoreland Lutheran Pacers (Somers, WI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host St. Joseph Lancers (Kenosha, WI), 49-44 in a league bout.

With the victory, Shoreland Lutheran upgrades its record to 13-9 on the campaign. The Pacers travel to Martin Luther (Greendale, WI) to play the Spartans in a Metro Classic bout on Thursday, February 8. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 8-15. Martin Luther lost 54-25 in their recent league bout against The Prairie School (Racine, WI)

Next up, the Lancers play the Dominican Knights (Whitefish Bay, WI) in a Metro Classic bout, on Saturday, February 10. St. Joseph will attempt to upgrade on its 16-7 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 17-5 record after their 56-33 league win over Martin Luther (Greendale, WI).
