The Stephenson Jaguars basketball team (Stone Mountain, GA), was overwhelmed 53-26 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Southwest DeKalb Panthers (Decatur, GA)

The Panthers now possess a 19-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holy Innocents Episcopal for a AAAA Region 6 battle on Friday, February 9. Southwest DeKalb will confront a Golden Bears team coming off a 90-18 league win over Druid Hills (Atlanta, GA). The Golden Bears record now stands at 18-6.

The Jaguars (13-10) will now prepare for their battle against Miller Grove (Lithonia, GA). The Wolverines come into the AAAA Region 6 battle with a 7-14 record. In their last battle, Miller Grove was overwhelmed by Westminster (Atlanta, GA), 41-33, in a league battle.
