St. Peter Saints (St. Peter, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Stewartville Tigers (Stewartville, MN), 71-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Peter upgrades its record to 19-1 on the season. The Saints travel to Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, MN) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 7-13. Belle Plaine lost 48-42 in their recent league bout against Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] (Montgomery, MN)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Kasson-Mantorville Komets (Kasson, MN) in a AAA Section 1 bout, on Friday, February 9. Stewartville will attempt to upgrade on its 15-8 season record. The Komets go into the bout with a 11-10 record after their 70-34 non-league win over Cannon Falls (Cannon Falls, MN).
