The Winooski Spartans (Winooski, VT) basketball crushed the host Stowe Raiders (Stowe, VT), 55-23 in Tuesday's league test.
The Spartans (6-8) will now prepare for their test against Blue Mountain (Wells River, VT). The Bucks go into the CVL test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, Blue Mountain was trounced by Richford (Richford, VT), 59-45, in a non-league test.
The Raiders now own a 1-12 record. They play next when they host Milton for a Lake test on Thursday, February 8. Stowe will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 54-48 league loss to Middlebury (Middlebury, VT). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 4-10.
