Terrell Academy Eagles (Dawson, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Tiftarea Academy Panthers (Chula, GA), 50-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Terrell Academy upgrades its record to 16-4 on the season. The Eagles travel to Southwest Georgia Academy (Damascus, GA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 8. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 12-8. Southwest Georgia Academy won 46-43 in their recent non-league bout against Brookwood (Thomasville, GA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Georgia Christian Generals (Valdosta, GA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 8. Tiftarea Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 8-14 season record. The Generals go into the bout with a 12-7 record after their 47-20 non-league win over Grace Christian Academy (Bainbridge, GA).
