Wisconsin High School Basketball - Valley Christian can't hold off Wayland Academy

The Wayland Academy Big Red basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Valley Christian Warriors to 54 in the Big Red non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Big Red now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Green Lake/Princeton for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 7. Wayland Academy will battle a Tigersharks team coming off a 49-47 non-league win over Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah (Elkhart Lake, WI). The Tigersharks record now stands at 7-5.
The Warriors (14-6) will now prepare for their contest against Sheboygan County Christian (Sheboygan, WI). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 12-7 record. In their last contest, Sheboygan County Christian nudged Cedar Grove-Belgium (Cedar Grove, WI), 59-48, in a league contest.
