The James Madison Warhawks basketball team scored 36 points and held the host Oakton Cougars to 25 in the Warhawks non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Warhawks now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Lakes for a non-league contest on Friday, February 9. James Madison will meet a Seahawks team coming off a 48-28 non-league win over Westfield (Chantilly, VA). The Seahawks record now stands at 13-1.
The Cougars (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Centreville (Clifton, VA). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Centreville ran past Chantilly (Chantilly, VA), 39-30, in a non-league contest.
