The Archbishop Mitty Monarchs basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Archbishop Riordan Crusaders to 28 in the Monarchs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Monarchs now sport a 20-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Ignatius College Preparatory for a contest on Friday, February 9. Archbishop Mitty will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 42-20 league loss to Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-5.

The Crusaders (15-5) will now prepare for their contest against Presentation (San Jose, CA). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Presentation was routed by Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA), 55-3, in a non-league contest.
