The Bandys Trojans (Catawba, NC) basketball knocked off the host Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC), 32-12 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Trojans (10-5) will now prepare for their test against Maiden (Maiden, NC). The Blue Devils go into the non-league test with a 9-3 record. In their last test, Maiden notched a victory over Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC), 40-29, in a non-league test.
The Red Devils now own a 0-14 record. They play next when they host West Lincoln for a non-league test on Friday, February 9. Newton-Conover will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 31-23 league win over West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC). The Rebels record now stands at 9-6.
