The Buffalo Gap Bison (Swoope, VA) basketball nipped the host Fort Defiance Indians (Fort Defiance, VA), 28-24 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Bison (12-5) will now prepare for their test against Riverheads (Staunton, VA). The Gladiators go into the non-league test with a 14-6 record. In their last test, Riverheads got by Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA), 34-20, in a non-league test.
The Indians now own a 6-13 record. They play next when they travel to Staunton for a non-league test on Friday, February 9. Fort Defiance will encounter a Storm squad coming off a 37-31 non-league win over Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA). The Storm record now stands at 14-2.
