Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Alhambra Bulldogs (Martinez, CA), 2-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Matadors confront the Ygnacio Valley Wolves (Concord, CA) in a challenge, on Thursday, February 8. Miramonte will attempt to better on its 6-7 season record.

The Bulldogs now have a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they host Clayton Valley Charter for a challenge on Friday, February 9. Alhambra will confront a Ugly Eagles team coming off a 3-3 league Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA). The Ugly Eagles record now stands at 12-2.
