Pontotoc Warriors (Pontotoc, MS) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Cleveland Central Wolves (Cleveland, MS), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Warriors confront the New Hope Trojans (Columbus, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 10. Pontotoc will attempt to better on its 15-8 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 12-6 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Canton (Canton, MS).
The Wolves now have a 7-7 record.
