Brookeland Wildcats (Brookeland, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Leggett Pirates (Leggett, TX), 50-38 in a league bout.

With the victory, Brookeland upgrades its record to 5-11 on the campaign. The Wildcats host High Island (High Island, TX) to play the Cardinals in a bout on Friday, February 9. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 0-1.
