Virginia High School Basketball - Chatham can't hold off Dan River

The Dan River Wildcats basketball squad scored 50 points and limited the visiting Chatham Cavaliers to 43 in the Wildcats non-league win on Tuesday.
With the win, Dan River upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Wildcats travel to William Campbell (Naruna, VA) to play the Generals in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Generals go into the bout with a record of 1-8. William Campbell lost 37-25 in their recent non-league bout against Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA)
Next up, the Cavaliers play the Gretna Hawks (Gretna, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 8. Chatham will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 10-3 record after their 42-31 non-league win over Nelson County (Lovingston, VA).
