Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs (Raleigh, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Clayton Comets (Clayton, NC), 54-31 in a league bout.

With the victory, Southeast Raleigh upgrades its record to 12-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to South Garner (Garner, NC) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Titans come into the bout with a record of 14-3. South Garner won 42-40 in their recent non-league bout against Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC)

Next up, the Comets play the Fuquay - Varina Bengals (Fuquay-Varina, NC) in a bout, on Friday, February 9. Clayton will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Bengals come into the bout with a 5-13 record after their 65-56 league loss to Garner (Garner, NC).
