West Columbus Vikings (Cerro Gordo, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting East Bladen Eagles (Elizabethtown, NC), 2-0 in a non-league bout.

With the win, West Columbus upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Vikings travel to South Columbus (Tabor City, NC) to play the Stallions in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Stallions go into the bout with a record of 0-8. South Columbus lost 76-31 in their recent non-league bout against Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC)

Next up, the Eagles play the Heide Trask Titans (Rocky Point, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 9. East Bladen will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 11-5 record after their 76-31 non-league win over South Columbus (Tabor City, NC).
