In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Elkin Buckin' Elks (Elkin, NC) basketball squad nipped the host Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC), by a margin of 39-35.

The Buckin' Elks (16-5) will now prepare for their outing against Alleghany (Sparta, NC). The Trojans go into the non-league outing with a 0-13 record.

The Rams now own a 6-11 record. They play next when they host Alleghany for a non-league outing on Wednesday, February 7. Starmount will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 41-19 non-league loss to East Wilkes (Ronda, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 0-13.
