The Highland Hornets basketball team scored 69 points and held the host St. Pius X Sartans to 58 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belen for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 13. Highland will battle a Eagles team coming off a 68-49 non-league loss to St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM). The Eagles record now stands at 9-7.
The Sartans (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Belen (Belen, NM). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Belen ran past Valencia (Los Lunas, NM), 52-30, in a non-league contest.
