Lakeview Sailors (Stoneboro, PA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Mercer Mustangs (Mercer, PA), 40-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lakeview upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Sailors host Reynolds (Greenville, PA) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Clarion-Limestone Lions (Strattanville, PA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 8. Mercer will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
