South Lenoir Blue Devils (Deep Run, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Southwest Onslow Stallions (Jacksonville, NC), 43-18 in a non-league bout.

With the win, South Lenoir upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Blue Devils host East Duplin (Beulaville, NC) to clash with the Panthers in a bout on Friday, February 9. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 9-10. East Duplin lost 47-39 in their recent non-league bout against North Lenoir (LaGrange, NC)

Next up, the Stallions clash with the Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs (Teachey, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 8. Southwest Onslow will attempt to upgrade on its 1-15 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 4-9 record after their 48-38 non-league win over Clinton (Clinton, NC).
