In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Western Harnett Eagles (Lillington, NC) basketball squad felled the host Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC), by a margin of 53-42.
The Eagles (6-9) will now prepare for their outing against Chatham Central (Bear Creek, NC). The Bears go into the non-league outing with a 6-14 record.
The Hawks now own a 6-11 record. They play next when they travel to Pine Forest for a non-league outing on Friday, February 9. Triton will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 60-49 non-league loss to E.E. Smith (Fayetteville, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 5-11.
