In Thursday's non-league test, the Alamo Navajo Cougars (Magdalena, NM) basketball squad knocked off the host Quemado Eagles (Quemado, NM), by a score of 71-60.

Next, the Cougars encounter the Hondo Valley Eagles (Hondo, NM) in a A District 3 test, on Tuesday, February 11. Alamo Navajo will attempt to improve on its 15-6 season record.

The Eagles (11-10) will now prepare for their test against Cliff (Cliff, NM). The Cowboys/Cowgirls come into the A District 2 test with a 14-4 record. In their last test, Cliff beat Animas (Animas, NM), 76-40, in a league test.
