The Willmar Cardinals basketball squad (Willmar, MN), was crushed 96-43 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Alexandria Cardinals (Alexandria, MN)

With the victory, Alexandria advances its record to 16-3 on the year. The Cardinals host Apollo (St. Cloud, MN) to meet the Eagles in a AAA Section 8 battle on Tuesday, February 11. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 12-8. Apollo won 74-69 in their recent league battle against Fergus Falls (Fergus Falls, MN)

The Cardinals now own a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Ulm for a non-league battle on Monday, February 10.
