In Thursday's league contest, the host Bennington Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 53-50 triumph over the Berean Academy Warriors.

The Bulldogs (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against Central Christian Academy (Wichita, KS). The Lions go into the Heart of America contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Central Christian Academy was tipped by Classical (Wichita, KS), 62-32, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Sterling Black Bears (Sterling, KS) in a Heart of America contest, on Friday, February 7. Berean Academy will attempt to better on its 9-5 season record. The Black Bears go into the contest with a 10-3 record after their 64-41 non-league win over Classical (Wichita, KS).
