In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Benzie Central Huskies basketball team scored a good 53-38 triumph over the Suttons Bay Norsemen.
The Huskies (11-7) will now prepare for their contest against Glen Lake (Maple City, MI). The Lakers go into the Northwest contest with a 15-1 record. In their last contest, Glen Lake topped Walled Lake Western (Walled Lake, MI), 65-57, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Norsemen battle the Onekama Portagers (Onekama, MI) in a Northwest contest, on Friday, February 7. Suttons Bay will attempt to better on its 7-9 season record. The Portagers go into the contest with a 13-4 record after their 56-37 league win over Buckley (Buckley, MI).
