Broad Run Spartans (Ashburn, VA) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Loudoun County Captains (Leesburg, VA), 69-41 in a league match.
With the victory, Broad Run advances its record to 15-5 on the year. The Spartans host John Champe (Aldie, VA) to face the Knights in a Catoctin match on Monday, February 10. The Knights enter the match with a record of 3-15. John Champe won 65-42 in their recent league match against Park View (Sterling, VA)
The Captains now own a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Heritage for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 11. Loudoun County will face a Pride squad coming off a 67-48 league loss to Tuscarora (Leesburg, VA). The Pride record now stands at 16-5.
