The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Rocktown Raptors (Harrisonburg, VA) and the visiting Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA), observed Rocktown's basketball team edge Broadway by a score of 50-46.

The Raptors (9-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA). The Trailblazers come into the Valley challenge with a 17-3 record. In their last challenge, Spotswood edged Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA), 77-44, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Gobblers encounter the East Rockingham Eagles (Elkton, VA) in a Valley challenge, on Friday, February 7. Broadway will attempt to improve on its 4-17 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 57-46 league win over William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA).
