In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Gleason Bulldogs basketball team scored a big 67-36 triumph over the Clarksburg Rockets.
The Bulldogs (16-8) will now prepare for their contest against Union City (Union City, TN). The Golden Tornadoes go into the 1A District 14 contest with a 12-11 record. In their last contest, Union City smashed Lake County (Tiptonville, TN), 80-41, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Rockets confront the Halls Tigers (Halls, TN) in a 1A District 13 contest, on Friday, February 7. Clarksburg will attempt to better on its 2-20 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 9-12 record after their 60-27 league loss to Middleton (Middleton, TN).
