In Thursday's league contest, the host Clarksville Academy Cougars basketball team scored a big 60-36 triumph over the Nashville Christian Eagles.

The Cougars (12-13) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Juliet Christian Academy (Mt. Juliet, TN). The Saints go into the Division II-A Middle District 4 contest with a 4-14 record. In their last contest, Mount Juliet Christian Academy was trounced by Nashville Christian (Nashville, TN), 61-44, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles confront the Donelson Christian Academy Wildcats (Nashville, TN) in a Division II-A Middle District 4 contest, on Friday, February 7. Nashville Christian will attempt to better on its 8-15 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 12-11 record after their 81-54 league loss to Goodpasture Christian (Madison, TN).
