In Thursday's league test, the Custer Wildcats (Custer, SD) basketball squad trounced the host Hot Springs Bison (Hot Springs, SD), by a score of 68-32.
Next, the Wildcats encounter the Belle Fourche Broncs (Belle Fourche, SD) in a A Region 8 test, on Saturday, February 8. Custer will attempt to improve on its 13-3 season record. The Broncs come into the test with a 3-11 record after their 56-47 non-league loss to Mobridge-Pollock (Mobridge, SD).
The Bison (4-9) will now prepare for their test against Hill City (Hill City, SD). The Rangers come into the A Region 8 test with a 10-4 record. In their last test, Hill City bounced Alcester-Hudson (Alcester, SD), 61-51, in a non-league test.
