The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Denbigh Patriots (Newport News, VA) and the visiting Warwick Raiders (Newport News, VA), observed Denbigh's basketball team knock off Warwick by a score of 41-31.

The Patriots (14-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Norview (Norfolk, VA). The Pilots come into the non-league challenge with a 12-5 record. In their last challenge, Norview prevailed over Manor (Portsmouth, VA), 61-38, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Raiders battle the Tabb Tigers (Yorktown, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 8. Warwick will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 3-13 record after their 52-46 league loss to Bruton (Williamsburg, VA).
