In Thursday's league contest, the host Eastland Cougars basketball team scored a big 56-16 triumph over the Milledgeville Missiles.
The Cougars (23-3) will now prepare for their contest against Ashton-Franklin Center (Ashton, IL). The Raiders go into the Northwest Upstate Illini - South contest with a 7-21 record. In their last contest, Ashton-Franklin Center was trounced by Hiawatha (Kirkland, IL), 60-57, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Missiles battle the Polo Marcos (Polo, IL) in a Northwest Upstate Illini - South contest, on Wednesday, February 12. Milledgeville will attempt to better on its 7-17 season record.
