Family Christian Flames (Baton Rouge, LA) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting West St. John Rams (Edgard, LA), 54-39 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Family Christian advances its record to 30-10 on the year. The Flames travel to St. Charles Catholic (LaPlace, LA) to meet the Comets in a non-league match on Friday, February 7. The Comets enter the match with a record of 18-17.
The Rams now own a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Martin's Episcopal for a 1A District 10 match on Friday, February 7. West St. John will meet a Saints squad coming off a 46-29 non-league win over Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy (Westwego, LA). The Saints record now stands at 11-8.
