The Schaeffer Academy Lions (Rochester, MN) basketball toppled the host Kingsland Knights (Spring Valley, MN), 66-57 in Thursday's league bout.

The Lions now possess a 10-10 record. They play next when they travel to Grand Meadow for a A Section 1 bout on Friday, February 7. Schaeffer Academy will play a Superlarks team coming off a 67-65 league win over Hayfield (Hayfield, MN). The Superlarks record now stands at 5-14.

With the loss, Kingsland falls to 13-9 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Lyle/Pacelli (Lyle, MN) to play the Athletics in a A Section 1 bout on Monday, February 10. The Athletics go into the bout with a record of 3-20. Lyle/Pacelli won 68-51 in their recent non-league bout against Medford (Medford, MN)
