In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Robichaud Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 48-40 triumph over the Melvindale Cardinals.

The Bulldogs (11-6) will now prepare for their contest against Thurston (Redford, MI). The Eagles go into the Western Wayne contest with a 13-5 record. In their last contest, Thurston topped Garden City (Garden City, MI), 65-35, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Edsel Ford Thunderbirds (Dearborn, MI) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Melvindale will attempt to better on its 10-7 season record. The Thunderbirds go into the contest with a 7-11 record after their 61-49 league loss to Allen Park (Allen Park, MI).
