In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles basketball team scored a good 57-40 triumph over the Washington Waldorf .

The Eagles (9-18) will now prepare for their contest against Berman Hebrew Academy (Rockville, MD). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 28-5 record. In their last contest, Berman Hebrew Academy topped Don Bosco Cristo Rey (Takoma Park, MD), 84-52, in a league contest.

In their next game, the battle the The Lab School of Washington Dragons (Washington, DC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 21. Washington Waldorf will attempt to better on its 6-10 season record.
