The Palma Chieftains basketball team scored 66 points and limited the host Salinas Cowboys to 35 in the Chieftains league triumph on Thursday.

The Chieftains now possess a 18-5 record. They play next when they host Pacific Grove for a PCAL - Gabilan game on Wednesday, February 12. Palma will confront a Breakers team coming off a 62-54 league loss to Oakwood (Morgan Hill, CA). The Breakers record now stands at 11-10.

With the loss, Salinas falls to 3-19 on the campaign. The Cowboys host Carmel (Carmel, CA) to confront the Padres in a PCAL - Gabilan game on Wednesday, February 12. The Padres go into the game with a record of 15-6. Carmel won 57-51 in their recent non-league game against Sacred Heart Prep (Atherton, CA)
