In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Smyrna Eagles basketball team scored a big 67-31 triumph over the Polytech Panthers.
The Eagles (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Sussex Tech (Georgetown, DE). The Ravens go into the Henlopen - Northern contest with a 2-15 record. In their last contest, Sussex Tech was trounced by Milford (Milford, DE), 62-44, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Milford Buccaneers (Milford, DE) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 10. Polytech will attempt to better on its 2-15 season record. The Buccaneers go into the contest with a 10-6 record after their 62-44 non-league win over Sussex Tech (Georgetown, DE).
