The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Shoreland Lutheran Pacers (Somers, WI) and the visiting St. Francis Mariners (St. Francis, WI), observed Shoreland Lutheran's basketball team overwhelm St. Francis by a score of 70-46.

The Pacers (6-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Martin Luther (Greendale, WI). The Spartans come into the Metro Classic challenge with a 12-9 record. In their last challenge, Martin Luther trounced St. Joseph (Kenosha, WI), 62-45, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Mariners encounter the Catholic Central Hilltoppers (Burlington, WI) in a Midwest Classic challenge, on Monday, February 10. St. Francis will attempt to improve on its 8-10 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the challenge with a 5-15 record after their 63-62 league win over Kenosha Christian Life (Kenosha, WI).
