The Summit Shasta Black Bears basketball team scored 77 points and limited the host University Prep Academy Golden Eagles to 47 in the Black Bears league triumph on Thursday.

The Black Bears now have a 18-3 record. They play next when they travel to Los Altos for a non-league game on Saturday, February 8. Summit Shasta will confront a Eagles team coming off a 62-60 league loss to Gunn (Palo Alto, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-14.

With the loss, University Prep Academy falls to 14-7 on the campaign. The Golden eagles travel to Basis Independent Silicon Valley (San Jose, CA) to confront the Bobcats in a Private School - Bay game on Tuesday, February 11. The Bobcats go into the game with a record of 13-5. Basis Independent Silicon Valley won 86-41 in their recent league game against Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit (San Jose, CA)
