Texas High School Basketball - Wichita Christian sneaks past Victory Baptist Academy

The Wichita Christian Stars (Wichita Falls, TX) basketball edged the visiting Victory Baptist Academy Patriots (Weatherford, TX), 49-47 in Thursday's league bout.

The Stars now possess a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Mercy Culture Prep for a TAPPS 2A District 2 bout on Saturday, February 8. Wichita Christian will play a Royals team coming off a 30-29 league loss to Sacred Heart (Muenster, TX). The Royals record now stands at 9-13.

With the loss, Victory Baptist Academy falls to 13-10 on the campaign. The Patriots host Nazarene Christian Academy (Crowley, TX) to play the Lions in a TAPPS 2A District 2 bout on Saturday, February 8. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 13-14.
