The Elgin Maroons basketball team scored 40 points and limited the host Larkin Royals to 31 in the Maroons non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Maroons now possess a 5-16 record. They play next when they host Maine West for a non-league game on Monday, February 10.
With the loss, Larkin falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Royals travel to Bartlett (Bartlett, IL) to play the Hawks in a non-league game on Friday, February 14. The Hawks go into the game with a record of 2-22.
