The Belmont Braves (Belmont, WI) basketball were winner over the visiting Shullsburg Miners (Shullsburg, WI), 48-37 in Thursday's league bout.
The Braves now possess a 14-6 record. They play next when they travel to Mineral Point for a non-league bout on Monday, February 10. Belmont will play a Pointers team coming off a 70-29 league win over Southwestern (Hazel Green, WI). The Pointers record now stands at 15-6.
With the loss, Shullsburg falls to 12-3 on the campaign.
