In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Bigfork Vikings & Valkyries basketball team scored a big 60-17 triumph over the Libby Loggers.

The Vikings & Valkyries (11-2) will now prepare for their contest against Columbia Falls (Columbia Falls, MT). The Wildcats go into the A Northwest contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Columbia Falls was trounced by Browning (Browning, MT), 71-54, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Loggers battle the Ronan Chiefs (Ronan, MT) in a A Northwest contest, on Saturday, February 8. Libby will attempt to better on its 1-12 season record. The Chiefs go into the contest with a 8-5 record after their 71-50 league win over Polson (Polson, MT).
