In Thursday's league contest, the host Burlington Huskies basketball team scored a close 1-0 win over the Meeteetse Longhorns.
The Huskies (13-4) will now prepare for their contest against St. Stephens (St. Stephens, WY). The Eagles come into the 1A Northwest contest with a 3-10 record. In their last contest, St. Stephens was tipped by Fort Washakie (Fort Washakie, WY), 53-46, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Longhorns battle the Cody Broncs (Cody, WY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 8. Meeteetse will attempt to better on its 0-8 season record. The Broncs come into the contest with a 11-3 record after their 71-18 league win over Worland (Worland, WY).
