The Cabrini Monarchs basketball squad (Allen Park, MI), was nudged 43-42 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Lutheran North Mustangs (Macomb, MI)
With the victory, Lutheran North advances its record to 6-7 on the year. The Mustangs host University Liggett (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI) to meet the Knights in a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 11. The Knights enter the battle with a record of 8-6. University Liggett won 56-28 in their recent non-league battle against Greenhills (Ann Arbor, MI)
The Monarchs now own a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ida for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 8. Cabrini will meet a Bluestreaks squad coming off a 60-25 league loss to Blissfield (Blissfield, MI). The Bluestreaks record now stands at 9-6.
