The Carlisle County Comets bounced the visiting Fulton City Bulldogs basketball squad by a final score of 54-22 in Thursday's league outing.
Next, the Comets clash with the Ballard Memorial Bombers (Barlow, KY) in a non-league outing, on Friday, February 7. Carlisle County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Bombers come into the outing with a 3-12 record after their 69-33 league loss to Graves County (Mayfield, KY).
The Bulldogs (3-10) will now prepare for their outing against Fulton County (Hickman, KY). The Pilots come into the District 1 outing with a 9-4 record. In their last outing, Fulton County was overwhelmed by St. Mary (Paducah, KY), 68-45, in a non-league outing.
