The Cardinals (12-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Creston (Creston, IA). The Panthers come into the Hawkeye Ten challenge with a 7-13 record. In their last challenge, Creston was routed by Earlham (Earlham, IA), 59-41, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wolverines encounter the Central Decatur Cardinals (Leon, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 7. Nodaway Valley will attempt to improve on its 8-14 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 53-38 non-league loss to Mount Ayr (Mount Ayr, IA).
